I attended counselling with Mary for just under a year and since starting I have come on in leaps and bounds. They make you feel so calm and relaxed. If you feel stressed going in, you will feel much better coming out. Mary just sits there and listens to what you have to say. I want to thank Mary for all the help she has given me, as I would not be where I am today without her. –Anon
I go to Mairead every week for counselling. I had work and family issues which were getting me down, and not coping with everyday situations, talking to Mairead about these issues helped me to take control of my life and give me confidence which I lacked. Mairead is very professional, caring and a great listener, she is sensitive and gives you time to speak and work through any issues you have. I would have no problem in recommending Mairead to any of my friends or anyone who needed another ear to listen to, outside of family and friends. –Anon
I have been going to Mairead for several months now and look forward to every visit. I enjoy talking, sifting through issues and reflecting on “stuff”. Mairead has a great gift in listening and offering questions to further my own observations and experiences. My time is often filled with laughter and tears and thoughtfulness and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am grateful for finding my voice and growing in confidence in the person that is me. My life is so much easier on a daily basis whether that be home life with my husband and children, work, being with my friends and extended family or following my interests and hobbies. My hour is a safe haven and a priority as I plan it every week. –Anon
I have been attending counselling sessions with Mairead for over two years on a weekly basis. I was involved in a car crash which changed my life. It brought up a lot of problems from my childhood and adult life. I wasn’t sure about going to counselling as I always dealt with problems myself. The car crash just pushed my emotions over the edge. The sessions with Mairead have been a brilliant experience. At the beginning I couldn’t see the benefits but as time went on I realised how much I use and depend on the skills I gained from counselling. I would recommend the counselling services at Drogheda Counselling & Psychotherapy to anybody and have no problem telling people that I attend Mairead. Your problems do not have to be dealt with alone. Any pain, suffering and emotions can be shared with the counsellors in a professional setting. The people are understanding and help you to overcome your issues. Help is at hand, you are not alone!
